Our Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) offers part-time further education courses for people aged 18 and over. We provide individuals with the opportunity to combine learning with family, work and other responsibilities.

Anyone who is not in full-time education can take part in our Back to Education Initiative courses but priority will be given to those with less than upper second-level education.

We offer a range of education and training courses at National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) Levels 4, 5 and 6 and course durations ranges from six months to two years depending on the course. Courses can be offered during the day, evening or weekends and are offered through our Further Education and Training Centres.
