GRETB Training Centre is part of the Galway and Roscommon ETB (GRETB) which serves the counties of Galway and Roscommon.
The Centre is one of the largest Training Centres in the region. It has a long
and proud history, established in 1969 to provide training within the West of
Ireland.
It provides a wide range of training programmes in Apprenticeship and Full-time and Part-time courses. A strong emphasis is placed on developing skills that are easily transferred to the workplace and many of the courses lead directly to employment.

Apprenticeship programmes for Galway and Roscommon are administered through the GRETB Training Centre.
An Apprenticeship is a programme which combines learning in the workplace with learning in a Training Centre or Educational College. They vary from 2 years to 4 years in duration and range from QQI Level 5 to QQI Level 9.
GRETB Training Centre are dedicated to ensuring your learning experience is enjoyable and successful.
There is a Student Support team which offers learners extra support in areas such as English and Maths.
